Maryknoll Fathers and Brothers

Museum Kiosks

Ossining, New York

Maryknoll Fathers and Brothers, a one-hundred year old Catholic charitable order, maintains its home on a knoll overlooking the Hudson River, north of New York City.  Here is located a museum showing artifacts depicting their world wide mission.

To help tell the story, three pushbutton activated video viewing stations are provided.  Each of the stations has a video monitor, and a SoundStik listening device.

Six pushbuttons enable the visitor to select their desired video.

Equipment includes three BrightSign HD video players and a Museum Technology    B-106 Pushbutton Interface.  Sound is delivered by Vista Group SoundStik Model  VC-BB4R-HA.   The equipment is located remotely, and is connected to the stations via CAT5 cable employing VGA to CAT5 converters at each end.  The block diagram may be viewed by clicking the link below.
